D. Jan Duffy is a former management attorney and business school professor who now serves as President of MPG. Early in her career, Jan identified the need for employment and compliance-related management practices education, advice and expert witness services to more effectively integrate law and management. She is known for her practical, accurate, but pain-free teaching style, writing, and consulting on such matters as effective prevention and correction of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation; reasonable workplace investigations; workplace privacy and communications issues; managerial decision-making; as well as corporate compliance and ethics matters.

Georgina KeanePhoto of Georgina Keane

Georgina Keane first qualified as a barrister in London and practiced for 10 years. After several years with the Confederation of British Industry as an employment law adviser, she re-qualified as a solicitor and worked with large City law firms as Head of Employment law. In 2001 she set up her own law firm Keane & Co specializing in employment law for employers and senior executives, share/bonus schemes and employee tax issues. Georgina joined MPG to help expand MPG in Europe with Jan Duffy, concentrating on independent workplace investigations.

Paralegal and Business Manager Michele Bradley has been with MPG since July of 2007. The busiest and most organized member of the MPG Team, Michele keeps track of MPG Team Members, Alliance Partners, clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, multiple calendars and travel schedules, and mountains of documents. When she can leave the office behind, she serves as a discreet and highly-efficient note-taker in MPG investigations.

Carla Minnard has spent more than a decade working on all sides of employment law issues. From serving as an expert witness, to representing employees in litigation and employers in consulting, policy drafting and employment practices advising, to conducting workplace investigations and educating, she is dedicated to helping both employers as well as employees build and enjoy happy, healthy, productive work environments. Carla has authored numerous articles and is a frequent speaker in the area of employment law. She has dedicated her professional life to promoting equality in the workplace, and to helping create and sustain vibrant, productive, and diverse workforces. Carla is a partner at Sher ♦ Minnard, LLP, a firm that focuses on employment, business, and real estate litigation.

Carla has presented numerous seminars and speeches on employment-related issues such as workplace investigations, harassment, discrimination, disability, retaliation, termination rights and responsibilities, and privacy. In concert with MPG, she also consults to employers on best employment practices, serves as an expert witness in employment cases, and conducts workplace investigations.

Malcolm Sher - MediatorPhoto of Malcolm Sher

Malcolm Sher brings more than 35 years of civil litigation experience to his mediation practice. After earning his law degree from London University in 1969, he practiced as a Solicitor of the Supreme Courts of England and Wales before moving to California and gaining admission to the California Bar in 1976.

As a partner at Sher ♦ Minnard, LLP, Malcolm is highly sought after as a mediator by other attorneys and the courts. He has experience mediating wrongful termination, discrimination and contract-related employment disputes. His upbringing in Zimbabwe, education and years of practice abroad have given him a unique understanding of the diverse ethnic and cultural issues which often underly these disputes and he is known for his patient and creative approach to problem solving and dispute resolution. For eighteen years, Malcolm has sat as a pro-tem judge in both Contra Costa and Alameda counties, is a fee arbitrator for the California Bar and local bar associations. He has also been a frequent panelist for both C.E.B. and other seminar providers.
