Services: Expert
Witness Services Jan Duffy, Judith Rosenberg and Carla Minnard serve as expert witnesses on behalf of both employers and employees in employment and business lawsuits, providing litigation consulting, evaluation, and testimony regarding appropriate management or employment practices. "Management practices" is the discipline that concerns the theory, strategy, policies, practices, and procedures that employers use to achieve effective legal and regulatory compliance, attract and retain qualified employees and to create productive workplaces, i.e., to effectively manage employees. Jan, Judith and Carla have presented hundreds of seminars and in-house training programs on harassment and discrimination prevention, workplace investigations, internal investigations, privacy, corporate compliance and related issues. In addition, as consultants, they have audited the policies and procedures of both public and private sector employers in a number of industries, including sales, law, health, transportation, mining, manufacturing, technology, energy, retail, telecommunications, and law enforcement. Jan has been described as a "pioneer in the field of workplace privacy and conducting effective workplace investigations." MPG faculty have testified in both State and Federal court on many issues, including: -
the adequacy and reasonableness of workplace investigations; Our pre-retention litigation consulting services provide counsel an early opportunity for clients to obtain expert assistance in identifying employment or management practices deficiencies and strengths, analyzing collateral claims relating to privacy, defamation, or breach of contract, and making and responding to law and motion matters.
